What runs on a schedule (and what shows up on its own)

Grounded works while you are not looking, so here is exactly what to expect. Every night, if your tracked questions or watched keywords have open slots under your plan cap, the generator fills them: it reads your verified facts, writes the questions and searches a customer with your problem would type before knowing you exist, and keeps only what measured search data supports. If your fact catalog is too thin to anchor on (fewer than two substantive verified facts), it refuses to generate rather than guess, and tells you so.

Also nightly, on Verified and Grounded: competitor discovery. The citation checks record which domains the engines cited instead of you on your own questions. Obvious non-rivals (forums, documentation, news sites) are filtered out free, then a judge reads your verified facts and admits only companies a customer might actually choose instead of you. Each one arrives labeled "found" with the full reason attached.

Weekly, the citation check asks your tracked questions across the engines your plan covers and records who got cited, verbatim. Your search footprint is captured on your plan cadence (monthly on Listed and Verified, weekly on Grounded), and a connected Search Console syncs nightly.

The rules for everything that appears on its own: it is always labeled with where it came from (generated, from your customers, or found), your own rows are never touched or crowded out, removing anything takes one click, and a removed discovery never comes back on its own. Removal also never deletes history: what was already measured stays measured.

Nothing that costs extra ever runs without you. Answer page generation, live SERP checks, and text mining only happen when you click them.

You never have to wait for the schedule. "Fill open slots now" on your tracked lists and "Discover from evidence now" on the Competitors page run the same generator and the same discovery immediately, with the same caps and labels. The buttons and the nightly run share one implementation, so they can never disagree.
