Terms of Service

Grounded AEO (“Grounded,” “we,” “us”) is a service of Meadow Mountain AI LLC. We operate a verified fact catalog for AI answer engines: we crawl business websites, extract facts, let the business review and approve them, and serve the approved catalog to AI systems via API, MCP, llms.txt, public grounding pages, and the v=AEO1 DNS record standard.

Free features (the domain audit and the self-serve AEO record generator) are provided as-is, without an account. Paid subscription tiers (Listed, Verified, Grounded) add managed catalog services as described at the time of purchase. We may change, add, or retire features; if a change materially reduces what a paid tier includes, we will notify subscribers before it takes effect.

You represent that facts you submit or approve about your business are accurate and that you are authorized to act for the business. You grant us a license to store, process, publish, and distribute approved facts (including to third-party AI systems) for the purpose of the service. You can revoke data access or request deletion at any time; revocation reverts published facts to unverified status.

We may decline or remove facts that are false, unlawful, or misleading. Verification states reflect our processes at a point in time and are not a guarantee of how any third-party AI system will behave.

Our crawler identifies itself as GroundedAEOBot and respects robots.txt. Free audits crawl only publicly accessible pages of the domain you submit. You may only submit domains you own or are authorized to audit.

The Showcase at groundedaeo.com/showcase is a free public board of products submitted by their makers. Listing is free and requires an account; it does not require any purchase. A person reviews every submission before it is published, and publication is at our discretion.

You may submit only a product you own or are authorized to represent. Impersonation is prohibited: do not submit a name, brand, logo or domain you have no right to. You keep ownership of what you submit and grant us a license to publish and distribute it, including in machine-readable form to AI systems, for the purpose of operating the board. The name, tagline, description and category on a listing are your statements about your own product; we publish them as yours and make no representation about their accuracy. Any Verified Owner badge or AI-readability score shown on a listing is ours, is generated by our own checks, and is displayed separately from your claims.

We may decline, edit for formatting, unpublish or remove any listing at any time, including for impersonation, unlawful or misleading content, or abuse of the board. Rejections come with a reason you can read on your own submission page. Takedown requests, from a submitter, a rights holder or anyone named in a listing, go to support@groundedaeo.com and are honored. Removing a listing removes it from the board, its public page and our sitemap.

Paid tiers are billed annually in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date; cancellation stops renewal but does not refund the current term except where required by law. If payment fails and is not remedied, we may downgrade the account, which reverts managed facts to unverified.

No submitting domains you are not authorized for, no attempting to bypass rate limits or CAPTCHA, no scraping the catalog at abusive volume, no using the service to publish false or infringing information, and no interfering with the service's operation or security.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not control third-party AI engines and make no guarantee of citation, ranking, or how engines use published data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, managed facts are unpublished; you may request export or deletion of your data.

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after that date is acceptance. Questions: legal@groundedaeo.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
