Store visibility: ASO, measured
The App Store is another answer engine: someone types a problem into the search box and one ranked answer wins. Store visibility applies the same loop the rest of the dashboard runs: watch the phrases that matter, measure, tweak your listing, re-measure.
Link your app by pasting its App Store URL (we verify it exists with Apple before storing anything), then watch up to 10 store search phrases per app. Every night, and any time you press Check ranks now, we read Apple’s own public search API and record where your app placed. That is a measurement, not an estimate: the endpoint we read is the search itself.
Not appearing in the top 200 is recorded as exactly that, a measured absence, never a zero. Every rank row also records which app held #1 that day, so the dive under each phrase shows both your history and who currently owns the phrase.
iOS only for now, honestly: Google Play has no official search API, so Play support waits until a paid data source is wired in rather than shipping guesses. The button and the nightly run share one implementation, and rank history is append-only: removing a phrase stops future checks and deletes nothing.
