Privacy Policy

Business facts: information extracted from publicly accessible websites during audits and crawls (company name, description, contact details, addresses, structured data), stored with provenance (source URL, method, fetch time). This is business information, and by design it is what the service publishes once approved.

Account data (paid tiers): email address, authentication data, and billing records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers.

Usage data: IP addresses on public endpoints (rate limiting and abuse prevention), audit requests, and basic request logs.

We use data to run the service: crawling, scoring, verification, publishing approved catalogs to AI systems, billing, and support. Published facts are, by the nature of the product, distributed publicly — including to third-party AI engines via our API, MCP server, llms.txt outputs, and grounding pages. Unapproved facts are not published.

We do not sell personal information.

If you grant data access via API key or similar (paid tiers), credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256) and used only to pull the data you authorized. Every access is logged. You can revoke access at any time, which also reverts dependent facts to unverified.

The marketing site uses no advertising cookies. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. Authentication uses strictly necessary cookies/tokens for logged-in sessions.

Catalog data is retained while an account is active or a public record exists for a domain. You may request correction, export, or deletion of your business's data at privacy@groundedaeo.com. Crawl logs and rate-limit records are retained for a limited operational window.

We rely on Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (Turnstile CAPTCHA). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
