Grounded AEO logo

FOR WEB & MARKETING AGENCIES

Sell AI-citation to your clients.
Keep the margin.

Your clients are about to start asking "why doesn't AI recommend us?", and the usual SEO stack has no answer, because it's a new layer. Grounded AEO is the layer: a combined SEO + AI-citation engine you can resell as your own.

You keep the margin · we run the tech · rev-share or white-label · built on the open v=AEO1 standard

001/THE SHIFT YOUR CLIENTS FEEL FIRST

People ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI and trust the one answer: no clicks, no blue links. Your clients' hard-won rankings don't show up there.

That answer is stitched from whatever the AI can scrape, often wrong, stale, or a competitor. There's no verified source of truth for the business.

Every agency will get this question within a year. The ones with an answer win the "we do AI search" conversation, and the retainer.

002/WHAT YOU BRING THEM

One engine, five deliverables you can sell:

Whole-site SEO + AEO audit

Point it at a client's domain and it crawls the site (not just the homepage) scoring classic SEO and AI-citation readiness, with a ranked list of what's wrong.

The exact fixes, done for them

It hands back ready-to-paste markup (titles, meta, Organization schema, llms.txt) and AI-crawler access. Re-run it to prove the score moved. Your devs can drive the whole loop from a tool in their workflow.

A verified record engines trust

A signed v=AEO1 DNS record + structured facts an engine can check as a source rather than a scrape. Owner-attested, cryptographically verifiable: the trust layer no website tool produces. It does not promise a citation; nothing honestly can.

Both channels on one panel

Google Search Console clicks and impressions for a property the client owns, beside modelled search and AI-prompt demand, labelled, never blended. Plus the ranking footprint over time against tracked competitors, position bands you click to filter, a drill-down into any single word, which engines can read the site, and which of them cited it for the questions you chose. Every card is dated and exports to CSV.

A report you can put your name on

The C-suite export: scores and deltas, client-versus-competitor trends, citation share, the AI-versus-Google demand table, and an explicit note of what is not measured. It is the review-meeting document, and the honesty is the part clients remember.

003/THE PARTNERSHIP

You sell it

Fold it into what you already do: audits, builds, retainers. Your brand, your client relationship, your pricing.

You keep the margin

Recurring rev-share, or wholesale / white-label. We design the commercials with each partner, with no terms pre-imposed.

We run the tech

The crawl, the fixes, issuing and re-signing records, keeping them fresh. No infrastructure for you to operate.

One login, every client

Add as many sites as you like under a single account and switch between them, with no password per client. Billing is per site rather than per seat, so each domain carries its own plan at its own tier.

The record travels

If a client ever leaves you, their record and published facts go with them. Nothing here is a hostage, which is a much easier thing to sell than a lock-in.

Free for your devs

The MCP endpoint is fourteen tools with no key and no plan: audit, fix, re-audit and publish from inside the workflow they already use.

Devs: it's a remote MCP tool; nothing to install. See the MCP docs and the integration guide.

004/QUESTIONS

What exactly do we resell?

A combined SEO + AI-citation engine. Point it at a client's site and it audits it for classic SEO and AI-answer-engine readiness, hands back the exact fixes (titles, meta, schema, llms.txt), and then issues a signed, verified record on the open v=AEO1 standard that lets an engine confirm the business's facts came from the business. No tool can make an answer engine cite anyone, ours included; what this does is put the client in a position to be cited, and then measure whether it happened. You deliver the whole thing as your own service.

How do we make money on it?

You keep the margin. You price it to your client however you already price work (a line item on a retainer, part of a build, a standalone audit) and pay a partner rate. We shape the commercials with each partner: recurring rev-share, or wholesale/white-label, whatever fits how you sell. We don't pre-impose terms.

How much work is it for our team?

Very little. We run all the tech: the crawl, the fixes, issuing and re-signing the records, keeping them fresh. Your devs can run an audit and get the fix material from a tool right inside their workflow (an MCP endpoint), so every site they ship comes out both SEO-clean and AI-ready without a new dashboard to learn.

Is this just monitoring, like the AI-visibility tools?

We now do both sides: the dashboard measures where a brand shows up (which engines can read the site, which have cited it, question by question) and the record side produces the thing that gets them shown up: owner-verified, structured facts and a signed record engines can trust. Measurement plus supply in one product, which almost nobody occupies.

Can we run several clients from one account?

Yes. One login carries as many sites as you add, with a switcher between them, and billing is per site rather than per seat: each domain sits on its own plan at its own tier. The client-facing artifacts are theirs: the record, the published facts, and the C-suite report export. If a client ever leaves, the record leaves with them, which is a far easier promise to make than a lock-in.

Is the standard real, or proprietary lock-in?

Real and open. v=AEO1 is published at aeorecord.org and filed with the IETF as an Internet-Draft. Records verify independently with an open-source checker, with no dependency on us. You're reselling a service on an open standard, not locking your clients into a black box.
