v=AEO1 is an open standard: one DNS TXT record at _aeo.yourdomain that points to your machine-readable facts and anchors their signature. Any engine, agent or person can verify your catalog is really yours with one DNS lookup. The spec lives at aeorecord.org and the record is free to publish forever.

The standard is deliberately open and unpatented: the more domains publish records, the more engines can trust them. You can validate any domain’s record with the npm package: npx aeo-record yourdomain.com.
